ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Sigma Assistel: still the ISO 9001:2008 certified organization offering the widest range of assistance services in Canada!
Since 2008, Sigma Assistel has been involved in a rigorous quality management process to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certification. It recently went through the annual re-certification process and we are proud to announce that Sigma Assistel passed with flying colours. Better still, it now has ISO 9001:2008 certification, the upgraded version of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. This certification is even more demanding in terms of measuring effective and proactive practices.

ID Theft Sigma Assistel releases the results of its survey
The second national identity theft survey, conducted by SOM on behalf of Sigma Assistel, revealed that Canadian adults are still in the dark about the potential repercussions of this growing problem. According to the survey:
- 45% of Canadian adults didn't know that if you've been a victim of identity theft, your future credit card purchases could be declined;
- 74% have never asked for a report from a credit reporting agency to confirm the accuracy of their credit record.
